Project Management:

The Full Pretzel has an excellent reputation in the industry for designing and delivering high quality events. 

We have been responsible for all or parts of an event, from venue recommendation to full production delivery of the event.  Some of our clients use our services as a creative to provide input for their event, consulting on creative concepts and themes.  Others use our logistics background to pull together various elements of the event on time and on budget.

And the most important thing... We think outside the square...

With all of our events we are in constant contact with our clients.  We have a saying: “If it’s not written down, it hasn’t been said”.  After every meeting we prepare a contact report which outlines the elements discussed, actions to be followed up and person/s responsible for the action.  This contact report is kept consistent and constantly updated as the project progresses. Every person that requires a copy of this report is sent it within 48 hours of the meeting.  If changes occur during the process a confirmation is sent to the appropriate person in writing on what has been discussed and agreed to.

We often deal with groups of people on an event including committees, boards, event panels, suppliers, etc.  It is our responsibility to make sure all of these people are informed of ongoing progress on the project and what their deliverables are.

Registration Management:

The Full Pretzel has worked on numerous events that required registration on various levels.  This has included designing and printing of registration forms and brochures sent out to potential delegates; receiving registrations and keeping an up-to-date and concise database; coordinating travel and accommodation requirements; printing of reports and itineraries as needed; confirmation and follow up with delegates; receiving and following up on payments.

Financial Management:

The Full Pretzel staff are very experienced in managing budgets on small and large scales.  In the past we have worked within other companies budget systems as well as creating our own system.  Having worked with numerous companies it is always important that a budget is current, and that at all times the profit on the project is easily decipherable.

Venue Management & Catering:

The Full Pretzel works regularly with numerous venues across Australia and Overseas. We understand the intricacies of these venues, what they can and can’t accommodate and how their catering operates. We would make sure all catering is delivered on time and on budget.

Understanding the speaker’s requirements is key to the successful delivery of the conference – for example, classroom style is important for some presenters but for others they need tables grouped together to create working groups. The process is simple, ask the right questions of the presenters and then communicate these requirements to the venue.

Social Program Management:

Every conference has a social component. We are happy to organize all of these for you or make some recommendations. Experienced at dinners of all sizes we believe finding the right idea for the audience is key – whether it be a trivia night, themed event or pure networking opportunity.

Procurement of Conference Accessories:

Sourcing cost effective conference solutions for satchels and gifts is one of our specialties. We have arrangements with a number of organisations who supply quality merchandise at reasonable prices. We source conference accessories for all of our conferences.

Speakers & Audio Visual Management:

It is important in an event that subjects or positioning on a subject is not repeated throughout a day or a session, so liaison with each individual speaker is essential.  The programme may reflect the topics to be covered but it is also important that each speaker be aware of what the other speakers are covering.

We also offer speaker training before an event and during rehearsals, offering advice and direction to each individual speaker as needed.

In the case of multiple speakers, as in concurrent sessions, we set up a speaker liaison room where each presenter can practice their speech, check their technology beforehand and have the ability to prepare themselves.

Having worked in the industry for 18 years we have excellent supplier contacts.  We are not tied to one particular supplier to deliver an element but are flexible enough to find the right supplier to deliver the right product at the right price.

Our staff are experienced in negotiating with suppliers to get the best deal and have the technical background to know exactly what is required to deliver an event.

Abstract & Paper Management:

For most conferences we produce a conference proceedings. In some cases this is a book containing reviewed papers, in other cases it is a CD ROM containing papers and presentations from speakers.

The record keeping and maintenance of abstracts is vital to the process so if edited we keep a record of papers that have been sent to the editors, returned to authors and then approved for publishing. Within the office we have the ability to open any type of document having access to Macintosh and PC computers. We can also PDF files for distribution to maintain formatting.

Graphic Design and Printing Management:

Most event producers do not have the background in technical and production that our staff have, We can organise, design and deliver multi-media productions on any scale.

Every event has an element of print production and we have been responsible for designing and delivering all types of print materials including invitations, menus, brochures and conference programmes.

Marketing:

The Full Pretzel is used to dealing with all levels of management within an organisation and have often consulted on Marketing Communications strategies for corporations.

In the past The Full Pretzel has been responsible for sponsorship on many levels.  We are currently working closely with a number of organisations to secure sponsorship for their organisation over a yearly period by offering a package that spans a number of events and opportunities.

Stall Holder Management:

As regular exhibition organizers we know that not all exhibitions are large and need to be tailored to fit the needs of the industry and organizations attending. In the past we have organized exhibitions for 12 companies using trestle tables and pin boards, to full exhibitions of over 100 exhibitors with trade booths and displays. The process is the same for both, find out what the exhibitor needs, plan the layout and then delivery the display.

Website requirements:

A number of our clients have websites that we interact with. Some have advanced content management systems which allow them to upload their own information, others have a third party creating and uploading the information. We are able to work with either system.
